Conveniently located just across the main bus station and within walking distance to the Old Town. Very original and cosy interior, rooms in the upper floor under the roof, with visible wooden elements - very atmospheric. Smooth self check-in late in the evening (apparently reception not working 24/7), with room card to be picked oneself. Quiet at night, abundant and variable breakfast. Good value for money.

APLEND CITY Hotel Perugia is a newly refurbished hotel situated in the pedestrian zone of the historic Old Town of Bratislava. Everything was great .. mainly the location. They offered to give our breakfast as take away as we were leaving early in the morning.. it was very nice gesture.

LOFT Hotel Bratislava is a 4-star hotel located in Bratislava, the city center. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic Old Town. This property was actually recommended to me. Without a doubt when I came to visit Bratislava (even though for only 1 night) I booked Loft Hotel. Everything was perfect. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful, we asked to store our luggage after we checked out as we had an afternoon flight and were given a storage room. The room is spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. A very nice stay overall. Definitely try out their restaurant Fabrika (super busy) for some great beers and food, but to reserve at least a few hours earlier.

This was our 2nd stay during the trip, coming back from our Slovakia vacation, on the way to Vienna airport. We liked the hotel very much, and so decided that it would be great on the way back as well.

Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel ligger i en historisk bygning fra 1200-tallet, midt i sentrum av Bratislava. Her tilbys romslige og elegante boenheter med gulvvarme på badet. Bratislava is a lovely city and the Radisson Carlton is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is historic and it is located so that one side overlooks one of the main pedestrians thoroughfares (Hviezdoslav Park), which include fountains, sculptures, restaurants, and ice cream shops. Our room was on that side of the building and included sights of St. Martin’s Church, the Castle, the Opera House, St. Michael’s Gate, and more. Bratislava is a very green city, where trees infuse many parts of the old town and outdoor patios are even build around the trees. You can take it all in from your window. The hotel is very elegant, with a large foyer with fresh cut flowers in the center. There was infused water in the lobby for guests, along with apples and menthol candies (which were nice for the weary traveler). The front desk was helpful at locating classic Slovak Restaurants (Flagship and Koliba Kamzík Zelená, we highly recommend both). The Savoy Restaurant is connected to the hotel and it is also where breakfast is served. The Mirror cocktail bar is also part of the hotel (and is listed as one of the top 50 cocktail bars in the world). Interesting historic photographs decorate the walls and adds to its charm. From the hotel you can walk anywhere in the old town as well as the river walk that leads to their huge modern shopping center. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the windows opened for fresh air to lovely green Bratislava. The room had a kettle with tea, instant coffee (regular and decaf were both very good), and hot cocoa. The bathroom had a tub with good water pressure. The polished black tile floors were cool. The breakfast was fantastic - fresh fish, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs. They also had a wonderful fresh blueberry smoothie and along with other juice options they had beetroot juice (its so nice when hotels are unique and have character)!! We will definitely return to Bratislava and to Radisson Blu Carlton.
