I especially appreciated how kind they were to my dog. Having a bed for him, bowls for water and food, receive water and treats everyday were fantastic. Furthermore, the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Everything was great. The pool/host spring and sauna were way better than expected. The breakfast was delicious. I loved the view from room. I will definitely go back!

It’s and amazing place! Looks exactly like the pictures. It’s a new place, it’s clean, beautiful, well maintained. All the staff without exception were so friendly and nice to us. Breakfast was great as well. It’s about 20 minutes walk from a main area of restaurants and bars (walkable at night), great view over mount brazil and the ocean. We loved seeing the sunset from the pool while reading a book. The place also has a big private parking lot for free. We didn’t wanted to leave

Hotel Insular is located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao and 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. This 1-star hotel offers free WiFi. Everything! The hotel is very central, just a 5-minute walk to Portas da cidade and is located in a very quiet street. Breakfast is simple but very fresh and nutritious offering a choice of local products with amazing bread and cheeses. The coffee was also great. My room had everything I needed and was impeccably clean and crispy white. The internet connection was stable and strong. I would like to give a special thank you to the amazing hosts and staff workers, Nélia and Marisa, for a homely attitude and hospitality, for their kindness and care. This place will stay in my heart.
