A nice clean and comfortable room looking across at the church - a picture postcard view. Lovely. Really nice room in a lovely home. Very very quiet and no church bells as clock not working.

Set in the naval town of Den Helder, Forest Hotel is across the street from the train station. It features an comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Fantastic service, especially with breakfast. Where they offer you a freshly made omelet and coffee. A good touch, it made our day everyday. The ladies behind the service desk are just sweethearts. The hotel is exactly in the centre of the town, and it even has a cinema with cult films on the same floor as the hotel. Just amazing

Este hermoso parque verde junto al mar de Wadden ofrece habitaciones, chalets y casas de vacaciones elegantes. Alberga un restaurante, un parque infantil y un centro de bienestar de pequeña escala. I really liked the place, the separate houses, everything was clean and compact.

It totally beats the renowned brands with a high quality furniture and personal touch. I liked the small details like that the fact that they use real nespresso capsules, not the cheap ones used in very prominent chains. In such a small hotel was a pleasant surprise to find an elevator. Another great feature is the small fridge in the room, which proved very handy with restaurants closing at 17:00 due to Covid measures in Netherlands.
