The rooms and furnishings were very comfortable and we slept peacefully during our stay. Overall, the hotel was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and full of Latvian touches and character. We were glad to have the option of well functioning AC on hot days. The breakfast next door was delicious and service was accommodating.

From the lighting to the effective use of multiple materials, our zimmer #11 was tastefully designed combining modern functionality with pleasing decor and furnishings. Accessed from a couple flights of stairs, it had a comfortable "loft" feeling and the large windows provided ample sunshine and views of the village and small stream out the back. It's an excellent location, across from the beautiful town hall and minutes away from historic buildings, natural attractions and numerous shops and restaurants.

I booked a large room for one night, perfect for visiting the city center and to check how the vimba fish jumps over the Rumba waterfall. The view of the old buildings from my window significantly enhanced the atmosphere. The reception is conveniently located within the restaurant, where the food is exceptionally tasty—I highly recommend dining there for both dinner and breakfast. Good location. Although the hotel doesn't offer its own parking but there are a lot of free city parking spots around. The price-quality ratio is ideal.

Dette nyligt renoverede hotel ligger i hjertet af den smukke og romantiske gamle bydel i Kuldiga. Kuldigas Metropole har eksisteret som hotel og restaurant siden 1910. The breakfast was amazing! In fact, there was so much that I could only manage half. Photos are attached.

We stayed with our 3 month old baby and everything was provided! Cozy, warm and modern place. We felt like at home. Will definitely stay again when we are in the town next time.
