Ukoliko planirate odsjesti u Borgarnesu, vrijedi napraviti 30tak km više i odsjesti u Basalt Hotelu.

Comfy hotel almost in the middle of nowhere :) Friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant, which is quite convenient for dinner and that we recommend. Would come back again. Ps. As Italians, we appreciated a lot the Nespresso coffee machine for breakfast

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. It was a great place to stay on the quiet island.

Hotel Stafholt has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Borgarnes. At the hotel, all rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. Recently opened hotel in an excellent location. It was so peaceful and the hosts were really friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Hotel Varmaland features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Varmaland. The hotel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. Although it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere, the location was perfect for us! We spent the day going up to Reykholt and Husafell, then stayed at Hotel Varmaland before heading to Snaefellsness Peninsula the next day. It was a beautiful hotel; the views from the dining area were fabulous. Food was excellent.
