Hotel was very clean and quiet even though we were right in the middle of the town. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Restaurant on site at the hotel has great food. 5 star service. With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Fab hotel lovely and clean nicely decorated rooms bathrooms and views. Staff all amazing especially restaurants staff and wee macs bar staff. The head barman very kind and accommodating for customers looking for tables to eat. !! Great food in all areas. Beautiful grounds and walks . Enjoyed the planned walks and our visit to cemetery to look up deceased members of our family a great stay all round.. next visit to mayo will definitely book again. We all agreed we didn't want to leave.
