Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. This was a random pick for us on way back to Dublin airport. It was an unexpected beautiful drive as well as an unexpected beautiful setting that was our place of stay! Would highly recommend if you are on a self drive through the countryside

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. The hotel was beautiful. Everything was decorated beautifully. Our room was so big and the beds were nice and comfy.

Situated in Virginia, 16 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre, St Kyrans Guest House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very comfortable room, incredibly clean and fantastic breakfast.

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. It was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly!

Everything. The location is so peaceful with beautiful trails and gardens around the hotel. The staff goes extra mile to make the stay memorable. Special thanks to Orla from reception for arranging a picnic for two for us at a lovely boathouse. We will definitely come back.

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. Food was excellent, staff were very helpful and always friendly. Lovely hotel. Such a welcome change from the big chain hotels!!!

Situated in Arvagh, 21 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, Breffni Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Wonderful hotel and amazing family running the establishment and they could not to do more for us. Amazing breakfast included and we ate dinner there both nights because the food and people were so wonderful!! So helpful for suggestions on local attractions and transportation. This is a must stay!

Featuring free WiFi, Lakeside Manor Hotel is located on the Cavan/Meath border, 11 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre. Free private parking is available on site. We loved the quality of this hotel from the staff to the service and friendly atmosphere from both staff and customers. The bed was probably one of the best beds I have ever slept in in any hotel.
