The whole experience was great. The tour organised for us by the manager was excellent. We had an interesting insight into the history etc of Islay.

Staff: took the time to remember our names before we even got there, super hospitable, and always make sure to prioritize the guests. They went above and beyond for any requests we had. Room: cleanliness & amenities felt like a hotel, decor felt like home, perfect mix Food/bar: local bar is right downstairs (but split from the hotel side if you just need entrance/exit), what else could you want. Food was really good as well. They also have a sister restaurant that books out down the street! This is our favorite hotel that we've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back, thank you to everyone at Lochindaal!

We had some booking issues and ferry travel difficulties, and Ian went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Great breakfast and good dinner experience. Clean and comfortable room with gorgeous garden surrounding the hotel.

Port Charlotte Hotel ligger i Port Charlotte vid Loch Indaal. Hotellets vinterträdgård och trädgård vetter mot en sandstrand. Alla rum har eget badrum, platt-TV, hårtork och ett te-/kaffekit. This is a very quaint, pretty , beautiful experience of staying in an historic hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Xmas and other guests and locals visiting the bar were friendly and fun. Food was great. Tv struggled. Breakfasts were fantastic especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. Loved having Marion play piano accordion on our last night. Thanks to Henry for organising. Was very special.

Lochside hotel is situated in Bowmore and features a terrace. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent! loved the location it was close to shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent.

Excellent accommodation, the online pictures made the room look ok but in reality it was excellent. My partner and i were very pleased with the stay and location. Would easily recommend.

Great view out of the bedroom over the bay of Port Ellen, clean room, nice bathroom and a lovely, freshly prepared breakfast by the host (at Trout Fly). Niall was an exceptional host, friendly and helpful. You can also park right in front of the property and there is a bus stop nearby.
