Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen. Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations in terms of location, facilities and value for money. We arrived to a friendly welcome, the room was great, and the bar provided us the food and drinks we needed after a long drive. Would definitely recommend, and I am sure we will stay again on future European driving holidays.

El elegante Hotel Stiemerheide está situado en Limburg Kempen y fue construido al estilo casa de campo inglesa. El hotel ofrece pileta y sauna gratuitas. The staff were super nice and helpful. It was my birthday and they rustled up a special birthday for me, much appreciated. The pool and sauna were lovely and fortunately not too busy.

Amazing location close to the walking areas in the forest, interesting historical building, very freindly and helpful staff, comfortable big room, nice beds, good breakfest. We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely return.
