Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we stayed in our entire trip to Austria. The employees are pleasant, kind and ready to help in everything. The room is large, spacious, decorated and equipped. The food at breakfast was above and beyond any expectation, so much variety, you could even order an egg according to your preference (scrambled, eye). Of course, the location of the hotel is breathtaking, among all the vineyards and nature, the silence and beauty do not leave much room for words. We loved everything and would stay there even more!

First of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we first had a room in the "Schachner in the park" and then moved into the main building which has a direct access to the spa and the restaurant and bar. The view was absolutely exceptional, with a broad horizon and the autumn colors ....The food was absolutely delightful. The spa with the infinity pool and again the wonderful view was great, as are the possibilities for walks and hiking. We definitely will go back! thank you

Es un pequeño pueblo donde no hay mucha actividad. Nuestra visita era básicamente para descansar al final de una etapa de la ruta que hacíamos en bicicleta. Recomendable alojarse en Landhaus Wachau y cenar en el restaurante Donauwelle.

La localización del pueblo,practicsmente en el centro del Wachau te permite disfrutarlo con comodidad y no es tan turístico como otros, por lo que resulta más tranquilo. Eso si la señora que regenta el bar cercano al campismo es bastante desagradable.

Melk es una población relativamente pequeña pero turísticamente muy importante por su Abadía junto al Danubio, de gran valor estratégico, histórico y arquitectónico que hacen la visita imprescindible. Además,es muy relajante un paseo por el centro de la ciudad antigua contemplando bonitas casas típicas de la región y disfrutando de los diferentes cafés, restaurantes y comercios. Muy interesante una visita al valle de Wachau para conocer algunas de las poblaciones rodeadas de viñedos de la zona, especialmente merece la visita a Krems

Location is excellent, good for exploring Wachau valley. However, the best thing about this place is breakfast and service. Absolutely spectacular, and great value for money. Great selection of most breakfast items and a la carte hot items. Truly enjoyed our short stay here.

Alexandra was extremely helpful and hospitable. Even though we arrived late in the night, the room was waiting for us and the keys were left in a special secure box, next to the entrance. Very tasty breakfasts with a wide selection. And the coffee! Delicious.

We just had an amazing weekend experience in Malat hotel - amazing hosts and Malat family truly made us feel like home. Highlight of the stay was cosy experience in "central room" where you can enjoy glass of wine, listen to music and just chill. Having a record player is a nice touch (Miles Davis albums and other classics)... There is so much to do/see in the region: from Gottweig abbey, exploring Krems, Melk, Wachau and much more. Hosts of the hotel were super informative and helpful with travel tips, restaurant recommendation. Would definitely recommend Malat wine tour to learn about the winery, region and more. We will come back for sure!

Impeccable service, fantastic food, and delicious wine. Breakfast buffet consistently good, and the eggs are cooked to perfection every time. The beds are very comfortable. Even the sofa bed mattress is more comfortable than many regular hotel mattresses. Beautiful view of the castle ruins, especially when lit up at night. The spa and infinity pool put the new hotel over the top. Entire facility is very clean including the rooms. Love the honesty fridge in the lobby so we can grab a bottle of wine or water even when the shop is closed. The terraces for the suites are massive! Very dog friendly - they cooked our pup his own meal. Easy and secure parking in the garage. Rooms are nicely sound proofed.
