It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

In a historic building dating from 1537 featuring a rose garden and a quiet courtyard, the family-run TiMiMoo Boutique Hotel Bürgerhaus is right on the main square in the centre of Rust. Excellent location, family ambient, very clean rooms. The hotel has few own parking spots but the parking around the hotel on the streets is posible free of charge. The staff was very friendly and hepful from the arrival to the check-out. We left the hotel feeling like we were visiting family. ❤️ The breakfast selection was very good, tasty and served to the table in the cosy ambient of the rose garden. The food choice was very diversified, with fresh vegetables and fruits and in the right amount.

The Sopron Monastery Hotel is located in garden part the city, surrounded by forests and on top of a hill, offering an excellent panorama. The property is 3.5 km from the center of Sopron. The hotel is a beautifully renovated monastery with a lot of modern elements. While the breakfast is in the baroque refectory, there are modern meditation rooms with fridges where you can grab some wine or coke. The location is next to the forest, with beautiful sunsets in the small park attached to the hotel. The staff is super friendly, explains a lot and gives a lot of tips. Very recommendable! We will definitely be back!

Amazing hotel. I think people do not realise how nice that area of Austria is. Breakfast was amazing and made out of food from the local area. I liked the grape juice that was made by the hotel. Room was big and clean the shower was amazing. I think is the first one that I've seen that they really put thought into it. Quiet, free parking. In the summer time I believe it is a wonderful place. Ahhh....and I shouldn't forget about the wine. That is a wine area for Austria.

The design features, including landscaping, were special and really added to our enjoyment. We have already recommended the stay to our architecture/art friends. Property looked new and is looked after immaculately. Breakfast was outstanding with many homemade interesting products, all served in a setting as good as a restaurant in a 5-star hotel. There was a lower level room (down a very steep ramp for bikes) that was locked so bikes were undercover and very secure.
