The owner is an incredibly sweet woman. While it was cold (-15 degrees Celsius), she lent me her jacket and this, during almost all my stay! As a bonus, she took the time to explain to my companion and me what are the secret routes and paths of New York (including a magnificent mosaic!). As for the room, it is spacious, perfectly heated in winter, cleaned and tidied by the host every day. The room has all the necessary luxuries: bathrobes, teas/coffees, several shower gels with different smells, .... Little extras that really make a difference! The place has a crazy charm with a unique decoration. I travel regularly and this accommodation is one of those that I will not forget.

Excellent location, a few blocks away from Metro station. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and beautiful. The room was super clean. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the Uptown.

This place is a hidden gem!!! Amazing location, Stanton street is really busy at night but just one block down where the Sanctuary is, is super quiet. Mario is so kind and answered any questions I had quickly. The room is huge for NYC standards, super clean and comfortable. Will 100% stay again.
