The property very well reflects the atmosphere of the amazing UNESCO village of Holloko. There is a nice verandah to sit outside the house and soak in the village vibes. The host Peter was very helpful during check in and with suggestions about Holloko. The rooms give an authentic rustic feel as was desired when I booked.

Excellent US/European standard in cleanness, comfort, service. Owner and staff speaking perfect English. Picturesque location in a "Village of Roses" (Thousands of roses) in rural backcountry. Breakfast was a feast with freshly baked bread, authentic Hungarian charcuterie, cheeses, fresh local fruits. Excellent way to experience authentic "rural Hungary". (The country is 20% Budapest, 80% fertile farmland.) I grew up in Hungary, have been living in the US for 40 years, my wife is all American, we travel a lot.
