Set in Locarno and within 600 metres of Piazza Grande Locarno, Binario 934 Boutique Hotel has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. the hotel is very beautiful and modern. the bathroom in the room is a piece of art 😁 the location is amazing near main station. the staff was helpful and friendly. There’s a nice breakfast in the morning, the only thing is that I would like to have as option some vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast. Everything was great, recommend this place 😊

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. Getting to the hotel was super easy. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a beautiful balcony and a very nice view of the lake. The staff was very kind. Very complete breakfast.

Set in a turn-of-the-century villa, Hotel Alexandra is just a 10-minute walk from Locarno’s town centre. It offers Mediterranean cuisine. Alexandra Hotel offers a rich buffet breakfast daily. My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and were very pleased with it. The room was very clean and comfortable and the AC worked extremely well which was very welcome after long hot days out exploring. It is situated in a great location with many shops and restaurants as well as Lago Maggiore in walking distance. The gentleman working there was exceedingly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. The breakfast was delicious and we were very well attended to for that as well!

Warm and welcoming Nadia & Cinzia are lovely they can’t help enough. Breakfast was fabulous they ordered in G/ F items for me! the bed is really comfortable, bathroom great

Completely renovated in 2012 and 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto occupies a 19th-century villa in a central location opposite the Locarno Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Piazza Grande, and offers you... The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. I love this hotel. I've stayed twice, once as a solo traveler and once with my sister, visiting me from the USA. The hotel is in an amazing location, with the waterfront on one side and a shortcut to the train station on the other. Restaurants, coffee shops and gelato are just next door. The rooms are minimalist. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, and I love that cappuccino, hot chocolate and vending machines are available at all times on the second floor. The staff was fantastic, each time.
