Göteborg has a few very nice areas such as the Haga and the botanical garden. The people are quite friendly and good (sweet) food. And the trams are cheap with an easy app and take you everywhere (even to the coast!) It is not a very big city, so 2 days is fine to get around. I travelled with my friends and I really did not like the city. People there were rude and not accessible enough for tourists like us. We went to one of the clubs named yakida in night after dinner, the guard simply denied our entry and said only guest list people are allowed. But he was allowing every other person from their own country very easily without checking anything. We felt discriminated there. Tried to ask people here and there but no fruitful response. Addition to this, There was not too many things to see in gothenburg. I really didn’t like it that much. And would not recommend to anyone.LishaGermany

The staff were so friendly, let me keep my bag there even after check out and even let me charge my phone too. Beds were really comfortable, loved the walk in shower, room was a really decent size. Very close to the tram stop too which was ideal. Breakfast, fika and dinner was included too, also didn't realise could get free bike rental too. Loved my stay here

Hotel was nothing to write home about but it was clean and functional with an underground car park. Breakfast was canteen style but food was very nice and plentiful choice. Room was small (but that was stated in my booking) - access to the bed was tight because of the small room. Again, no tea or coffee facilities in the room and no fridge (seems to be a common theme in the hotels I used in Sweden).

Not bad at all when arriving by rail, and not far is Göteborg Ullevi Norra with several tram lines and a bus line, bordering a historical cemetery. There are a decent amount of restaurants just around the corner, and a nice sized Coop store just up the street on Friggagatan. Staff were courteous and helpful, check-in was a breeze. Having the coffee and cookies available all day was a great treat. We were able to walk everywhere from the boat (made several trips to Haga) and loved that we never had a need for public transportation. The free breakfast was a great perk and so was relaxing on the upper deck.

Despite being quite distant from city center there is a lot of transport opportunities nearby (bus, ferry) so it’s not a problem. Our room was clean and cozy and we were enjoying stay there. The breakfast was very good, complete with different options. The rooms also have teapots and free tea and coffee.
