I liked the most the location that was in the middle of the park, the fresh air and the quiet that was there. It was near the center of the city (15min) by walking. Very reachable every thing with the car. The Rugova canyon and the Drini i bardhe waterfall is nearly 20 min away.

We came to Peje to go hiking in the nearby hills on the newly established Balkan Trail. An infrastructure to support walkers is in its early days, but easy enough to figure nonetheless. We loved the walking, staying in friendly hotels - and of course drinking lots of Peje beer.

The weather was chilly, but we still enjoyed our 3 days. The area is beautiful and we will need to return during the summer months to explore the mountains. The people were unbelievably friendly (as in all of Kosovo). We made friends with the workers at Coki's Pizzeria near the river. We also enjoyed the walk along the trail on the southern side of the river. There is a small little place to have coffee on the opposite side of the river where you cross the bridge. Very scenic!

Peja is a cool old city with a fun market and several very old mosques as well as an old monastery with a 1,000 year-old mulberry tree. Peja is walkable, but driving in it is the pits. Don;t depend on Google or Apple maps. The mountains and gorge are amazingly beautiful. And where else can you go on a zipline or complete and obstacle course for just 10 euro each?

The town has a very picturesque location There is nothing exceptional about the town itself. It has an Old Bazaar which is in fact not very old, having been reconstructed following damage sustained during the Kosovan War. In the summer I am sure Peje would make a pleasant stopping point, with its multiple coffee shops and restaurants. The big draw to the town is surely its proximity to the Patriarchal Monastery on the outskirts of the town and the Visoki Dečani Monastery, some 12 km from Peje. These are both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Peje also provides a gateway to the Rugova mountains.

Peja seems perfect for those going climbing/hiking in the nearby mountains. Museum next door is small but interesting.
Decani Monastery is a lovely trip, but needs bus to Decani and then taxi and the same to come back to Peja. 15€ for taxi from Peja.
Our stay at 1863 Boutique Hotel in Peje was truly exceptional. The hotel's prime location near everything made exploring the area effortless. The host's warm hospitality added a personal touch, making our experience memorable. The charming ambiance of the hotel, combined with impeccable service, created a delightful retreat for us as a couple. Without hesitation, we highly recommend 1863 Boutique Hotel for a splendid getaway.
The hotel is actually pretty good considering its price and location. The staff was very polite and even provided us a parking spot. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to taste the breakfast. The room was spatious and clean as well as the bathroom. Also the A/C was working great and it also had tv and a fridge and mini bar. At a very central location but no noise. We would visit again if we even visit Peja.
The best hotel I have ever been privileged enough to stay at. Wonderful building, panoramic view, calming and relaxing environment, only 27 km from the city and as soon as you get here you will be amazed by the view that this place offers! It's worth just spending an afternoon here, let alone staying a night! If there was grade 11 or 12, I would definitely put it there.
The reception was exceptional. The were very helpful and honest . They gave me also a very good places to visit in Peja. Also there is a garden in front of the hotel I like it very much. Finally, I would like to thank specially Lindita , she was really careful about us . the hole staff were good I really dont have any word to describe what I mean.
Nice and refurbished hotel near the city center. Great hosts and very comfortable beds. The room is well designed and the shower is very comfortable. It’s warm and there is the AC to switch on if needed. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs is quite good, and food recommended. You can see they have taken design into consideration.
Location is amazing. You are in the middle of the centre and you can reach everything within minutes. Staff at the parking was really friendly and helpful. The younger staff upstairs in the hotel was also very friendly and helpful. Room was big and it was really nice being able to move around.
Absolutely enchanted by my stay at the Kosovo Mountain hotel! Breathtaking views, cozy rooms, and impeccable service made for a memorable experience. The staff’s warmth and the surrounding natural beauty create a perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility and adventure.
The Hotel is located near to border of Montenegro; before "Peje" city. Owner of the hotel was kind and gentle. I dont like to stay at the downtown hotels and this hotel was at a location which wasnt at downtown and at a easy-to-reach place. Overall I can say ok.
The entire hotel staff, especially the woman that works the front desk, were outgoing, caring and helpful. The room was comfortable and you close to many options for cafes and restaurants.
The room was excellent and the food in the evening and at breakfast was so tasty. What made this hotel so special were the staff., so helpful and kind.
