Hostel Adriatic Piran, hotel in Piran

Hostel Adriatic Piran is situated in the historic center of Piran. Offering compact rooms with free WiFi and air-conditioning. Washing machine, iron, personal lockers and lights are available.

It was a clean, tidy hostel, with good kitchen and bathroom- though automatic lights turn off too quickly. Good lockers, cute pouches to put things in beside the bed. Nice terrace, though not so private as passerby can look down onto it.

Everything was perfect. We were welcomed by our host very warmly, he helped us carry our luggage and accompanied us to find a parking place… We got a bottle of wine, a homemade breakfast, even a little souvenir. A very big thank you to our host and his mother who were very kind. The apartment is perfectly located, the decoration is vintage with very pleasant colors which make the room warm. We even had tea and herbal tea, which is very nice for people who consume it on a daily basis. Shower gel, bath towel… just PERFECT. I recommend ++++ we look forward to coming back in a while. Thanks again. 👌🏼

Wonderful small town on the sea coast, with great restaurants, beautiful views, nice shops, lots of history. I ate along the sea walk several times, got a local private tour, took a bus to the nearest town Portoroz. Would highly recommend seeing Piran!

Right up there with the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terra in the gorgeous seaside village sweepstakes. Breathtaking views everywhere you look. Pretty main square with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. Crystal clear water for swimming, although there are no sand beaches, but piers and jetties. Lots of nice restaurants with sea / sunset views

Piran is a very compact town so it is easy to walk but take care with the uneven cobblestones. There is a wide range of eating places. The cement area in front of the sea was a surprise: there is no sand. The free shuttle was handy for getting luggage from the very expensive parking garage (the only option for visitors). Our hostess, Bruna, was a memorable part of the visit.

Piran is an idyllic peninsula of Slovenia, it's a very small village and therefore; I wish I'd stayed less than the 3 nights I did. The nearby towns are bigger and more touristy and have little to offer in terms of culture. I'd highly recommend using Piran for its ferries, the walking tour that includes food tasting and the salt spa/pans that are able to be reached by bus. But, also relaxing in the sun by the sea and enjoying the delicious restaurants.

We really enjoyed Piran because we experienced it solely on foot. We left our car at our apartment on the hilltop. You can enter Piran by car through a policed barrier or park in the public car parks on the hilltop or cliffside but they looked pricey and very busy - cars queueing. Piran has atmosphere, lots of charm and character from the fine square with its clock tower boasting views over to Italy (modelled on the tower in San Marco Venezia) The maze of tiny streets with peeling paint in ice cream colours, laundry flying from balconies, geraniums pouring from window boxes, a fine harbour, places to swim and some fabulous restaurants made this town a delight to explore. It feels very southern mediterranean with its crystal clear blue green waters, gelato cafes selling pistachio and peach ice cream. Everyone was friendly when I tried to order in Slovenian. Locals wish you Good Day We felt Slovenia was a top destination with so many contrasts from bear-watching to climbing in the Julian Alps, kayaking over Lake Cerknica and white-water rafting on the Soca River - what a country!

Piran is beautiful and definitely worth a visit however there are a lot of hills so be prepared. I also would recommend coming by car, as we had planned to take the bus. It arrived full and then we had to spend €150 on a taxi as there wasn't another bus that day. Even if you have a ticket you are not guaranteed a seat which is a terrible system.

Really beautiful hotel in an amazing location right on the seafront. Rooms were large and spacious. Parking could have been a bit tricky but the hotel had a shuttle service, whereby once you'd checked in, you followed the bus to the multistory car park (non-residents are only allowed in the center with their cars 30 mins). Once you'd parked, we called the shuttle and they picked us up and dropped us off when we were ready to leave. Breakfast was amazing and the view made it really special.

The unit is in a beautiful spot on the seafront at Piran, and close to all attractions. It is well equipped with a full sized kitchen, including a drip coffee machine and a french press. The washing machine is also a bonus and the lovely balcony with a BBQ is great for those sunny days. Whilst it is close to restaurants we found it very quiet. Our host was very helpful including organising cheaper parking and also a voucher so we could drive in to load our bags

The staff are very helpful and kind and gave me lots of information about what to do in Piran and how to walk to Strunjan beach, which was beautiful. The hotel is stylish and clean and my room was lovely and spacious. The bed is very comfy and you even have a washing line outside the window, which was very helpful for drying my swimming things. The hot breakfast was delicious too and the best coffee I had in Slovenia.

Perfect position: very close to the beach and only 10 mins walk from Pirano centre. Private parking available, which is an asset, as parking in Pirano is extremely difficult in high season. Apartment clean and cozy, surronded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees. Marinka and her family are such welcoming people, made us feel at home. If you visit Pirano this is the perfect place.

We had a nice view. The hotel is located on the Tartini square. You cannot enter the city by car but you can park the car in a garage outside the city center and take a free bus which stops in front of the hotel. As a hotel client you have a discount and pay 12 euro per day for the parking. The beds were very confortable and the breakfast was very good.

Great place to stay in the heart of the old town. Communication was appreciated as we were sent details about parking and how to find the location. Self check in was easy. The apartment was very clean and the room was spacious. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looks like the photos. I’d stay there again. Piran is a lovely spot.

Walking distance to the center of town, and to the parking lot where we need to park the car. Apartment is a good size with an outdoor area for warm weather. Best of all is the manager, Peter. He went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay! Super attentive and helpful!

The location and interior of the property are wonderful. We stayed at the Art Hotel Tartini near the Christmas holiday, to celebrate our engagement, and enjoyed the quiet of Piran in the winter. It’s proximity to restaurants, the water, and the plaza is phenomenal.
