So much to see ,managed to book aushwitz and salt mines, also had good couple of days strolling around main square , but not enough time to see all. Definitely will come back next year. Plenty of restaurants, however we really recomend NapNap bistro , Sioux and Pod Aniolami . Really good walking distance from our hotel didn't have to use taxi or bus to get where I wanted. Obviously salt mines and aushwitz we booked tour guide , salt mines we took bus from krakow and Aushwitz tour guide and we been picked up from location near our hotel.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

I enjoyed Krakow - it’s a compact city with great public transport , so it’s easy to get around and visit a lot of places, leaving the evening for attending concerts, pubs, etc. Access to Auschwitz made the stay in Krakow memorable. I was new to Krakow when I arrived.
I was new to Krakow when I arrived. From the moment I met my taxi driver until I left Kraków on the train, I felt at ease in the city. I went for many evening walks and found that the city felt very safe. I attended a couple of concerts while there, and visited many of the recommended sites around the city. I was very surprised by the relaxed feel to Krakow, and will definitely return. My accommodation at Dietla 99 apartments was just right for my trip, close to all amenities and within walking distance of a lot of the city's attractions. I can only recommend Kraków as a destination to place on your bucket list.

We liked the little coffee shops and hidden bars in the alleyways. The main square is too touristy, the side streets are better for places to eat and drink, and prices are lower. Do not like the horse drawn carriages, the horses don’t stop, they are not given water no matter how hot it is and they look exhausted and broken in their eyes!!! I would never pay to do this, these horses suffer for tourism and it needs stopping!!!! Pod Wawalem is a great place to eat and drink due to the nice atmosphere and good food! The home made lemon vodka is amazing! The British stag do’s ruin what is such a beautiful city.

One thing to know tho, there is no one at the front desk once you are checked in. But she is reachable via WhatsApp. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided with eggs, ham & cheese, bread, fruit, yogurt, and coffee/tea/juice. Street parking is free on weekends and overnight. The meter starts at 10 am on Monday. The location is great, located less than a block from a mall that has a food court in one direction, and a few blocks from the Old Town in the other. Parking is a premium in the area, so this works best if you are using mass transit or taxi/uber. The hotel also provides reasonably-priced transportation, which worked great for us needing to take a group of 7 to the airport at 3:30 in the morning.
