Lovely hotel with great facilities. Fabulous restaurant. The food was amazing. Rooms spacious and clean with good toiletries.
The grounds have peaceful seating areas.
The one thing that spoilt it for us and our group was a couple having a domestic. Clashing and banging doors shouting, clattering around in heels at 2am in the morning till 2 45am.

The canals, trees coming into bud, friendly City folk, good coffee and excellent transport links. The historic buildings and peaceful walk along the canal which loops around the City were very relaxing. We enjoyed the City Museum and the cafe in the Dom (Cathedral) is a tranquil place to be. If you are looking for a civilised and smaller version of Amsterdam you will enjoy a long weekend in Utrecht.

A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit.
A vibrant yet chilled out place to visit. Loved all the cafe and bars and small streets where you can meander and wander in and out of lovely shops. Some of our party went to the top of the bell tower, quite hard going but amazing views. We also visited the Roman ruins under the tower, very interesting and good fun. Also spent a leisurely hour and a half on a a canal river trip, highly recommended! Went to several restaurants, great, reasonably priced food and far too much good wine and beer. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

Really lovely place, have been here several times and love it more each visit. There's lots to see and places to eat and watch the world go by. As it has a University there are lots of students around which adds to its vibrancy. It's a strange mix of busy and quiet in parallel. Watch out for the bikes as you're in the Netherlands, this took a little getting used to but it does mean there are not so many cars which is lovely. Absolutely recommend a visit!

A lovely old town with boutique, vintage shops, and great bars and cafes plus a big shopping mall near the station for international brands and a lovely up-market department store. Live music in many places. Lots of walking but enjoyable!
The hotel is situated right next to the train station and thus very convenient to the shopping centre. Walking to the old part of Utrecht is also convenient. Although some guests said the train created noise issue, we did not hear it, probably due to which side your room is, so if you prefer a quieter room, maybe you need to indicate when you check in (we did not make a special request). The room was a reasonable size, clean and well maintained. Not a luxurious type but comfortable enough and is value for money as the price is very reasonable.
A beautiful hotel, full of character. My room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the Oudegracht. The location is very convenient, less than 10 minutes from the train station (careful: it's the Utrecht Vaartse Rijn, not the Utrecht Central Station) and also very close to the city's busy center, where one can find the majority of the shopping and dining options lined up along the canal. The breakfast is served in the room and it is more than adequate. If you have any specific requests, they are accommodated. A truly wonderful stay!
Step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by the streets, shops and cafes of Utrecht. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very smart and comfortable and everywhere was beautifully clean. The curtains are the best anywhere for blocking out light so you sleep well. The room was quiet because we were at the back (this did mean no view but was ok as we were just staying overnight). I really wish I could have stayed longer.
I love The Anthony for their location and apartments - it's great for when you stay longer and need to work and/or travelling with family and want your own place with kitchen etc. rather than a hotel room. You can walk to e.g. city center and train station but you can also get away from the busy city as it's located just outside the city center. Wifi works great, coffee was provided! So again, a great place.
We felt very welcome in this lovely boutique hotel with nice atmosphere close to the city center of Utrecht (walking distance). Great place to stay in a historic building, freshly renovated room and spacious bath room. Very friendly owners. We enjoyed the possibility to have a glass of wine or beer from the central fridge in the evening.
The staff did a great job well in advance by sending thorough instructions how to get in the hotel, having in mind its' location within the mall. Good location in the center of Utrecht, clean, efficient checking-in and out process. Rooms just as shown on pics, sufficient choices and tasty breakfast.
Everything! The quality of a 4 stars hotel with the price of an hostel... The hostel is located in the city centre, you car arrive there by walking 10 minutes from the train station. Many bars and restaurant are located in the district. I'd have liked to spend there more days...
The location was perfect. Since it's found in Hoog Catharijne shopping complex it is perfect for shopping. It is also directly connected to the train station and very close to all attractions in city centre.
Hotel was also very clean and staff were nice and helpful.
This is a very good hotel located very close to Utrecht Central station and hence perfect for travelling around. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the attractive city centre in Utrecht.
Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices.
Affordable hotel with all the necessary amenities, close to the city & train station and very welcoming & helpful staff. I will definitely come back to this hotel for my next Utrecht trip, but next time I will try the breakfast + gym + bicycle rental!
The location was very convenient as the hotel is within the shopping mall right in front of the Utrecht Central train station. The breakfast had a good variety and the self making waffle was fun. The well decorated big lobby was a good meeting place.
Great location in the city centre of Utrecht, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is definitely recommended. Very friendly couple who run the place together and who will make sure you have everything you need!
The room size and area were excellent. We were in Utrecht for a week and being in a tiny hotel would have been miserable. This place really felt like home. It was nice to be able to do some cooking at home as well.
Location near by offices so walking distance to work every day. Spacious room comparing to hotels in city center of Utrecht. Several bikes to be rented in good condition and good prices.
funky budget friendly hotel in central Utrecht. Rooms are small but contain all you need. Toiletries are beautiful. Breakafast selection is exceptional as is all the food
Perfect location, just one bus stop from Utrecht Central station and city centre. Beautiful view from the hotel room. Staff is very helpfull and friendly.
