Everything was nice and easy in Garni La Ciasota. Great facilities for skiing, comfortable rooms and good price overall. Both Romina and Alessandro were helpful and kind. Great choice.

The location, the friendly and helpful staff, the general atmosphere, the lovely room, the delicious food both at dinner and breakfast are all reasons why I keep going back. I have stayed at many hotels in the dolomites over the last 8 years, and this is the best one by a decent margin!

gentilissimi i proprietari. struttura elegante pulita
A small town next to a better known Corvara. We came ot Dolomites for road cycling so I will comment on the location with that in mind: it's nearly the perfect location for road cycling trips as most of the famous routes including Sella Ronda bike day as well as Maratona dles Dolomites go right through it (Maratona) or very close to it (Sella Ronda). It's an easy access to the famours passess: Campolongo, Val Gardena, Sella, Pordoi, Valparola. Giau, Fedaia as well as the Furkelpass (Furcia) can also be reached if you are ok with a bit longer day on a bike (still within 80-100km loop)

A small-ish town but with everything you need, great supermarket, bakery, restaurants and places to go for a drink. It was a great base for us and I would definitely recommend a car to go and do various hikes in and around the area (an hours drive to Seiser Alm, an hour to Lago di Braies and then we did various hikes between 20 minutes and half hour drive away). We were amazed at how well taken care of everything is from the roads to the buildings and maintaining the beautiful landscapes! A lovely place.

La Villa is the central village of Alta Badia, set in a very sunny valley bordering the two natural parks of Puez Odle and Fanes Sennes Braies. The village is very well maintained, has beautiful panoramic views and few cosy restaurants. La Villa has also a well-stocked grocery store. La Villa is the perfect starting point for summer hiking in the Dolomites, and for skiing in winter.

Garni Lasteis was a great place to stay.
Garni Lasteis was a great place to stay. Quiet but close to everything you need. Very clean.
We ate at a couple of local restaurants that were friendly and served good food.
Take the gondola in La Villa, walk across to a chair lift and down another gondola to Corvara and walk back along the river to La Villa. A lovely walk and not difficult if you aren't used to the altitude or steep climbs!
There is also a nice easy walk to Lago Sompunt.
Take a trip up to Marmolada (about 1 hour drive); the highest peak in the Dolomites, spectacular views from the glacier.
Also worth a trip to Lagazuoi and the trenches.
We came across Welsperg Castle not far from Brunico, well worth a visit, on our way to Lago di Braies. The lake is very popular and there is restricted parking. The road to the lake car parks is closed from 10am -3pm, hence our trip to the castle!

La Villa is a nice little town to stroll around and shop a bit. In June I found it not very lively. The infrastructure is well-maintained and it offers facilities for tourists. However, the 2 restaurants that I visited, were a tad disappointing as regards the quality of food.
It was the best hotel I’ve ever been! Extremely clean, very friendly stuff who prepared spa and cocktails for us even though we arrived late in the evening. They even prepared birthday cake for me, and also helped with finding hiking trails around. Spa is really relaxing, you book it for personal use for one hour. A lot of activities to do around-hiking, bikes, skiing. They are pet friendly so we didn’t have any problems to stay with our dog. And also good parking
The apartment was nicely furnished and looked very new, kitchen had everything we needed. The spa area was absolutely stunning, we loved relaxing with a view on the mountains after the sauna.
From La Bercia to the cable car it’s around 10 minutes to walk, there’s a supermarket next door and also many restaurants.
The breakfast included a delicious freshly made fruit salad and freshly pressed orange juice.
The location is excellent and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel's facilities were fantastic, particularly the wellness centre. The bar was comprehensively stocked and the room was very comfortable with great views.
But the absolute highlight were the hosts who were incredibly helpful and friendly and really made the stay fantastic in every way they could. Can't wait to come back!
Everything. There is quite literally nothing to not like. The view from each room is beautiful, we stayed in a room with a corner view of the mountains. Everything starting from the interiors of the room, to the amenities, to even the sheets towels and pillows, is of the highest quality. Truly a boutique hotel that was a pleasure to stay in. Bonus because it is a family run.
Such a beautiful hotel with such friendly and helpful staff. The manager helped us organise and choose which hikes to do. Her family knows everything about the area. The room was spacious and immaculate with a big balcony. Comfortable beds… delicious breakfast. Nice spa. Highly recommended!
The property is in the middle of postcard made by Dolomites view. Location is super good for us - not crowdy but good for one star travel. In the middle of La Villa village.Big and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is good. Overall very nice accommodation.
This family-run hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The views are spectacular. The location is perfect for hiking or walking to town for shopping. We especially loved the spa downstairs.
The facilities were great! Warm jacuzzi in the cold outdoor was very nice! Warm indoor swimming pool! Amazing relaxing room!
The room was really comfortable and beautiful too! Looks well maintained.
The hotel is very central to the different hiking trails and accessible by local buses. The bus station is just 200m away and there's a supermarket and shops close by
Beautiful hotel and the views from the rooms were amazing. Hotel staff were amazing. Had our Evening meal in the hotel and it was fabulous. Definitely worth a visit
