This is an outstanding location if one wants to be near the sea, very close to Taormina, yet at reasonable cost and not overcrowded compared to Taormina itself. Taormina is a beautiful and captivating experience, yet it is very crowded even in May, so Giardini Naxos provides relief from the crowds yet is just minutes away, at least earlier in the season. A long promenade along the sea extending from Isola Bella at the foot of Taormina all the way to the beaches of Giardini Naxos makes for a welcome opportunity to stretch ones legs. Highly recommended for its more down to earth hotel prices, warmth of the local population and its many seafront restaurants

I loved everything about this flat. Comfortable and big.
I loved everything about this flat. Comfortable and big. Strong WiFi. Nice high ceilings. Wonderful host. But the surroundings are just absolutely stunning. So wonderful to wake up in the morning and have a cup of coffee on the terrace with a view of the Etna and trees all around. And then to walk up to the village and being greeted by the horses and cats. Very, very much recommended!

We used it as a cheap place to stay after spending the day in Taormina. This worked relatively well, there is a bus from the nearby train station that takes you to Taormina. Taormina is a very beautiful but very expensive tourist resort, so Giardini Naxos is a cheaper alternative. We were there off season so most of the restaurants were closed, but we found one that was open, which was within walking distance.Towers - 10Scored 10

Giardini Naxos means beach, sun and short trips. It is an excellent resort. It is close to a lot attractions, with accessible beaches, a typical resort with a cute center with colorful buildings, with many accommodation facilities, numerous restaurants and cafes, from which you can choose. It would be ideal to rent a car to be able to explore the very spectacular surroundings: Castelmola, Isola Bella, Taormina, Etna, Acireale, Catania, Syracuse, Ortygia.

Picturesque beach resort with nice views over the bay and up to Taormina and Castelmola. Plenty of choices of beach clubs on the sea front. There were a couple of spots on the beach where you could sit for free but we preferred to pay €15-€20 for the added comfort of loungers and an umbrella in the beach clubs. Our favourite was Lido La Romantica as we thought their food and bar offering was the best. Lido Di Naxos is great for kids though as there is a good playground, which our toddler loved. There were plenty of restaurants lining the seafront and a couple of bars for aperitifs. Our favourite bar was C'era cu C'era. Very refreshing limoncello spritz with generous measures! We had a relaxing week, but there isn't an awful lot to see or do, so I think we may have been a little bored, had we stayed longer. We had stayed in Taormina the previous week and there's plenty to see and explore, there. It's only 20 minutes on the bus so I would recommend at least a day trip there if you are staying in Naxos.AnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

The b&b is located 15 minutes walk from the beach of Giardini Naxos and 7 minutes from the bus stop to go to Tormina or Catania. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a large balcony and a spacious bathroom. Extra points for the excellent breakfast which included fresh coffee, with a variety of sweet and savory, and where we tasted the best croissant with pistachio cream of our trip. If we go back to Giardini Naxos we definitely stay here again.

Kitchen is small but have everything what's needed, room is basic but cheap, so doesn't really matter, is not 5* hotel. Super helpful host. Close to the beach and to the AMAZING bakery, just on the corner. Taormina is just few minutes away and is way more quiet. The house itself seemed newly renovated and the two bedrooms are perfect for a family of four. And as you will most likely spend your day on the beach, the living space was sufficient. To accomodate for the hot nights, the bedrooms and living rooms are equipped with ACs and fans. The owner was a really nice and welcoming man helped us with any questions we had. All in all 10/10, definitely recommended.

The hotel is on one end of the long Giardini Naxos boardwalk - it's convenient to walk to the beach and to restaurants. The hotel has it's own access to the sea and lots of lounge chairs and tables. There is a bar at the pool area where you can get drinks and snacks. Our family had a nice time hanging out at the pool and walking along the boardwalk at night.

The apartment is really well equipped , very clean. Our host, Andrea, was very helpful , he went extra mile to find out information about our return flight as union strike was announced in Italy on that day. The list of places to visit he prepared for his guests was very informative and I suggest to visit Gole di Alcantara from the list.
