Obviously the location and spa is the main draw here, it's amazing. The restaurant was fine, not a huge menu but we self catered for most of our meals. The house we stayed in (The Clubhouse) was nice, fitting 4 adults and 1 child very comfortably.

Ideal location, easy to access to different parts of attractions. Cosy, clean and comfortable house, equiped with everything. Welcome from Border Collie dog was additional surprise for our kids. Best of all is hot tub in garden to close the day in Icelandic panorama. Quiet and ideal to experience islandic origininal feeling. I warmly recommend to all of you nature fanatics.

We absolutely loved this property! We got to stay in the cabin, which was perfect for us. It had a well-stocked kitchen and a few other amenities which made staying her for a couple of days really easy. The location is fantastic - you could just stay around the local area and explore for ages. The cabin was also heated by a natural spring which really added to the expeirence. We didn’t need to speak to the staff much, but when we did, they were very helpful and friendly.

The location is beautiful, and the house has everything you need, cozy, but spacious.
The kitchen has everything you need, even extra oil, spices, pasta, coffee, in case you miss something. We have not used the gas grill outside though.
And the living room has breath taking views, and on top of that, the hut-tub outside.

I can't say this accommodation was perfect, but I would definitely stay again because the experience was incredible. The buses have been transformed into lodging in a very creative way, and the views through the windows are amazing. The host was very friendly, and the space with the toilets and showers was functional and warm. On my trip around Iceland, I stayed in better accommodations, but Esjan has a unique charm.
