Hosts Joe and Deirdre made our stay extremely welcome. Lots to do and see in this West Cork area. Visit Bantry and Ireland’s most Southern Tip, Mizen Head. Will be back soon

Downtown Bantry has many places of interest and is typical of an Irish village. Every Friday there is a market on the main square. It has all the amenities a person needs. A number of good pubs and restaurants. The food at the Brick Oven is really good. Very friendly people. The Connection has all the high-tech equipment a traveler might need.

I liked that we were in a rural area but close to everything. We enjoyed horseback riding, hiking on Sheep's Head, the pubs, restaurants, and shopping. There was an excellent Italian restaurant with great pizza. The butcher was excellent, and we enjoyed shopping at SuperValu.

Bantry is an excellent base for exploring West Cork and beyond. It remains a traditional old-style rural town full of shops and pubs, locally named. Not very touristy. There's a sense of Irish history about it. It has a a very good Tourist Office and a fine new main square. A very good day to be there is a Friday, market day...excellent for every kind of locally made & grown produce. Bantry grows on you, especially the natural friendly warmth of its people. So, stay a while.

Rarely do we stay at accommodation that’s sets a new benchmark. Seafort did just that in so many ways. The property quality, facilities, cleanliness and comfort - just perfection. The host was like a friend who was so welcoming, gave us the space we needed, but was there to give us tips on trips and sites in the area whenever we needed it. The tranquil and stunning environment complimented the best scrambled eggs I had for breakfast! No hesitation in recommending this stay to anyone visiting West Cork!
This was a perfect stay in Bantry! Barbara was a lovely host, the room was even better than in the pictures and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each day, with many options. The view at sunset was amazing, facing the bay and to get into the town centre was only a 15 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast & dinner was exceptional.

Chloe & the manager deirdre were nothing but great help with anything needed. Service was great. Definitely will be returning to bantry bay hotel in the near future.

Our family room was spacious, with a table and even balcony, which opened out to a beautiful view. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb--the best we had in our 2 weeks in Ireland!
The location was a bit more remote than I had expected but was very beautiful and peaceful. While bantry was just a few minutes drive away. The host was very helpful and made some great recommendations.
The room was large and full of light overlooking a beautiful garden, it was quiet and had comfortable chairs and a writing desk at a huge bay window. Good choice for breakfast and the marmalade delicious
Brilliant views over the bay. The room was large and beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable & the En-suite was a great size. Breakfast in the morning was lovely as well. Could not ask for more!
Stayed for three nights whilst attending a wedding at nearby Bantry House. Hotel was clean and centrally located, breakfast was very good. Parking was nearby. Live music in the bar was a bonus!
Breakfast was excellent. Josephine couldn’t have been kinder or friendlier. House was spotless and so quiet. Lovely views over Bantry Bay and just a few minutes drive from town.
The breakfast was SUPERB and the house was a quaint little house near the beach just outside of Bantry. Very relaxing, you couldn’t ask for a more relaxing and enjoyable place.
