The hotel is a filthy infection bomb.
It's nothing you can appreciate there.
1. They tried to bill us before arrival even if it's mentioned that you have nothing to pay in advance.
2. The room (double) was under the roof, no air, hot, full of old furniture in bad condition.
3. The fridge was out of order (water inside and on the floor)
4. Found one hair on the sink in the bathroom, the sink faucet was rusty
5. Old towels in bad condition
6. Lights worked partially
7. Problems to close the door
8. The receptionists didn't say hello
The biggest issue is the filth. The rooms are stinking. I've never imagined that this still exists in a European country.
Booked 3 days, stayed 2, so hotels were booked because of the Eger wine fair but I wanted to get out after 2 minutes. It was a torture to stay there.
Hotel Eger & Park is next to Gardonyi Geza Theatre in Eger's historical centre. It features a restaurant and a fully-equipped health centre with a gym. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The newest hotel in Eger is located in one of the most famous tourist attractions of this town, in the so called Szépasszonyvölgy - the valley of the beautiful woman.

Eger is beautiful. I had planned only few hours in city, had great wine, and beautiful architecture. People were friendly, I recommend to visit the market place, lots of local goods. I will definitely travel to Eger more!

Enjoyed the thermal baths and the valley of beautiful women, but the castle museum was a bit of a letdown. Definitely wouldn't spend more than one night here, but could even just pass through it for a short visit on the way to somewhere else.

We made the mistake of coming during the winter, we really wanted to enjoy nature in the mountains and to visit the national park. Due to weather conditions we couldn't do much and the national park was closed. The steam train nearby was also closed. It's a cute village to visit, i bet it is more beautiful during spring/summer/autumn.

The beautiful old town, relaxing thermal baths located in a charming park (there is a free parking just next to the park!), delicious food, wine and wonderful palinka, and above all, friendly residents. Visit the castle, the huge cathedral, the Franciscan church and the beautiful Esterhazy library. It is also worth visiting Egerszalok, walking through the vineyards, eating in the local restaurant and seeing the Hungarian pamukkale.
The apartment was meticulously clean. It was very comfortable and cozy. Soap, shampoo, teas, coffee, creamer and appliances were provided. The location was an easy walk to Eger Castle, the city center, cafes and restaurants, the city thermal baths, and the Turkish Bath (Torok Furdo), as well as many beautiful city parks. I especially appreciated the use of a washer and dryer plus drying rack so we could have clean clothes for the rest of our European trip. There is a lovely interior courtyard with both sunny and shady spots to enjoy.
Excellent and very helpful staff. Answered my questions and arranged taxi for trip to train station in early AM. Location was ideal, very near to Eger castle, Dobo Square and Kossuth street. Room was small, but very comfortable bed and nice bathroom facilities. In-house restaurant Macok Bistro was excellent with great food, drinks and welcoming staff. Included breakfast very good also. My 4 day stay was excellent.
This hotel is situated near the centre of the town - cca 5 minutes walk. We very liked our stay here. The hotel is very nice with well furnished rooms. The hosts are very kind and friendly. We received welcome drink and the map of Eger - very good idea :) Breakfast was tasty - one day we had hot dish, the next day cold dish. You can park inside or at the street. Beautiful place, we really recommend it :)
Definitely 11/10! Kinga & Attila are great hosts and give the personal touch. Everything was great. Very nice and clean room with A/C working very well. Hearthy brekafast with a lot of options to choose from. Very convenient private parking lot. Attila gave us some dining recommendations and they were spot on! Overall, when in Eger again, we will definitely choose Herbstyle Minihotel.
Nice apartment. Cosy and comfortable. Everything what is needed - present.
There was no need to worry about anything.
Towels, coffee, dishes, mugs.
Place to park your car near apartment.
Close to centrum of Eger and Valley of Beautiful Woman.
Host unbelievable kind and helpful.
We spent great and chill time.
Girl at the front desk was extremely helpfull and polite.
Room was spacious and quiet. You even get a smal kitchen in the room, but we did nor used it. Everything is spotless clean. Top of the charts clean.
Breakfast, while not as diverse as in big hotels, had a nice selection of well prepared and tasty food.
Writing on behalf of a colleague for whom I booked this hotel. A story of a broken down vehicle in rural Hungary with no taxi service and no place to go. Villa Florencia was able to take in my colleague very last minute (as in minutes before midnight) and give detailed instructions on how to enter, etc.
We had a lovely time in this hotel. Everything is easily accessible. Because its located in the center of the town. Very comfortable, clean with super friendly staff. Highly recommended. Has a private parking possibility what we preferred. We were very happy with everything
Very central location in Eger. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door and met my expectations. There is an underground car park at reasonable prices which one should book because otherwise there would be nowhere to park your car.
the breakfast was really fine, the room was comfortable, and well-equipped. High-quality hotel in every respect. They had an outstanding wellness facility. The surrounding area is natural, with a green valley and vine cellars close by.
I liked the fact that the continental breakfast was included, had a good selection. I liked the location, very central in Eger, nearby to shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Clean facilities and friendly staff.
The property was in the most perfect location. Right in the heart of Eger. Parking was free for guests. The hotel, whilst not modern, had a real charming feel about it which only added to our experience.
Wonderful place, very well priced, loved the bathtub as I’ve been feeling crummy so the tub helped a lot. The host is quick to respond and very helpful. Great area of Eger.
Excellent localisation in the center of Eger - 2 mins walk to main square, few minutes to thermal pools. No problems with finding a free parking spot on neighbour street.
I like this hotel. When i am visiting Eger twice a year I prefer to stay at Estella hotel. Location is very important for me and it is the main reason I stay there.
