Firstly the staff are very friendly and try there best in all departments including the cleaning team who do a great job especially in the guest rooms - I must mention the restaurant manager who is a nice guy and always remembers return guests - one male receptionist stands out as nothing is to much trouble, unfortunately I did not get his name but on check out he came out to say good bye…. On 16/5/24 at 15:00.
Breakfast a nice experience with excellent choice - new upgraded pool area is a big improvement and looks good.
This was our 4th return visit and two more stays already planned this year 2024 - wonderful views from the hotel only had one issue over 4 stays 25 nights in total with numerous coach parties of children who were completely unruly throughout one night - hotel did there best obviously the school teachers failed. (Not something the hotel could have anticipated and cannot be blamed for the behaviour of guests for one night)
This hotel has become our favourite and is recommended because of the staff and experience.
Cannot wait to go back!

It is good to have a few days time. Though one might be able to see most attractions in a day or two, it feels much nicer to take the time to roam through the atmospheric streets and see where one ends up and what is personally relevant at the time. It might be nice to visit the town market in the early morning hours; skip a breakfast in one's hotel and instead have breakfast in a coffee shop and sit between the locals; walk in non touristy areas and take time to make contact with sellers, like the wonderful owner of the religious gift shop 'Thomas', close to St. Spiridon church.
Take time for a siesta in the hottest hours of the day and start refreshed for an afternoon excursion to one of the recommended attractions, followed by a splendid dinner in one of the many restaurants in the narrow alleys of the town, accompanied by the songs of swallows.
We certainly come back, as there are still many things to discover and town and people deserve your interest and appreciation.
Lovely architecture, clean streets, classy cafes and restaurants. Fairly noisy, but seemed to switch off at midnight which was great. Massive choice and variety of cuisine. Modern, efficient local and island-wide buses. English spoken everywhere, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Highlight - Apothiki for mezzes and fabulous local folk music at the weekend.

So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
Churches, beaches, ancient sites, museums, The old fortress, the new fortress, watersports, bars, restaurants, coffee houses etc
One can catch ferries to Italy, Kefalonia etc. Scenery is great if it's not raining.
Dining out I would recommend The Tratamento, Filellinon 3,7 Corfu Old Town +30 26610 33267. It is about equidistant between Venetian Well and the Orthodox Cathedral
A popular trip is from Corfu to Saranda in Albania ( an up and coming holiday destination), Similar sites of historical or natural interest.

Beautiful harbour areas between the two fortresses and along the coastal promenade area to the windmill. Lovely squares, parks and attractive Italian-style architecture in the quaint and bustling streets of the old town. A vibrant and interesting town with numerous restaurants, bars and traditional, touristy and modern shops. Great place to explore in is own right and as a centre to tour the island, with good bus services.

Absolutely beautiful I loved the Corfu old town market, mon repos beach, the palace, fort and water views.
Corfu town also has Starbucks and really good restaurants which is not too expensive compared to some of them. I recommend Pan e souvlaki restaurant which is a few minutes walk from the Corfu old town market. You can also find lots of nice dessert places in Corfu town too.
The hospitality of the owners ,the amazing apartment, full of the modern convinience (smart tv,wifi, copier, refrigerator, stove and oven,Nespresso machine and a drip cofee machine, washer and dryer in the unit and iron and ironing board), the full of food and snacks pantry and refrigerator, bar with name brands of liquer, the very confortable bed the choice of pillows, and the most inportant of all the LOCATION!!!! 15 feet from the center of town (LIston) a travelers dream.A 5 star experience in the center of Corfu town.Highly recomented. 5*****
The breakfast was adequate, with a wide choice of warm savoury and sweet food and a good first breakfast. We did not try lunch and dinner.
The hotel is well placed close to Kanoni beach and Kanoni square. There, you can find several restaurants (including a really nice Greek Taverna) and the bus stop that is really easy to use to get to the main centre of Corfu town.
The staff was also really kind and helped us organise taxi bookings and recommended places where to eat in Corfu Town.
The apartment is perfect. I couldn't fault it, even if i tried. Newly renovated, stylish, with two air conditioners and mosquito nets on each window. The location could not be better. Right in the old town and a step away from the beaches. Maria is the best hostess, she is like a good friend. I love Corfu town's authentic rustic style but, it is a treat to walk in the luxurious apartment after walking in the summer heat.
Sunset Hotel was the ideal choice for our last night in Corfu. With an early flight the next morning, it’s proximity to Corfu Town made for an enjoyable last day of exploring the city and a quick 15 minute ride to the airport in the morning to catch our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a cute balcony with ample seating. The staff were friendly and helpful with arranging taxis.
The best host I have ever had! He picked us up all the way from the other side of the island because there were no taxis available, gave us a ton of information and tips for corfu and places to eat in corfu town, and he was always ready to help when necessary. The facilities were great, a beautiful house with big, spacious rooms and everything we needed. Also very clean and quiet.
This hotel is amazing! It is located around 15 minutes walking (!) from the airport and about 17 minutes walk from the old town.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The person at the reception was particularly welcoming, smiling, and helpful.
What we liked the most was the breakfast.
We would 100% recommend this hotel to ANYONE going to Corfu town.
Dora the hostess was there to meet us and was very welcoming providing recommendations for places to eat etc. The facilities were on the same level as a 5 star hotel. The property was beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Dora’s eye for detail was evident in the furnishings she had picked to show the detail and the history of the apartment at it’s best.
Akis studio is one of the best appartmets we ever visit, very clean !!! Maria was excelent hostess . The appartment is in the heart of Corfu town !!! All shops , cafes, historical local monuments are one step from door. we love the place and all the comfortable hospitallity that provides.
We will be glad to come again soon and stay in this appartment!!!
Great location in old town. Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. By far, the best reason for my memorable stay was Nancy and her staff! Extremely friendly and super helpful on recommendations and arrangements on getting around, places to visit and the best restaurants. I hope to visit again soon.
absolutely excellent. Perfect small apartment in a perfect location, a bit far from the noise of the center but still very close to it (20/30 min walk and 5 min by car). Very clean and comfortable and Aris, the owner, is super helpful and nice. We absolutely recommend it for your stay in Corfu town!
The apartment was very clean, very nicely decorated, comfy and beautiful natural light during the day. The location is exceptional, in the center of the town and relatively quieter than other locations in Corfu town. Wifi is exceptional. The hosts are kind and discreet. Everything was perfect
We chose this hotel as it was the cheapest in Corfu town. It was very clean and we got exactly what we needed for a 1-night stay. The lady in the reception was very kind and booked us a taxi for the following morning as our flight was very early.
Brilliantly located.
It’s not 5 star really though it’s not 5 star prices. You get what you pay for. Excellent location. Grand traditional hotel. Of its time but I liked it. Staff polite and helpful. Pool and surround lovely and amazing views.
Everything. It was comfortable, spotless, modern, has all the amenities you need. Close walk to town and the Old Fortress, short distance from the airport. Better than most 5 stars hotels. The host is very helpful and hospitable. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Very good and comfortable hotel.
It’s clean.
Staff at the reception is very approachable, aswell at the hotel bar, pool bar and beach bar. Big professionals.
Very easy to come to centre of Corfu Town by bus. station is near the hotel.
Wonderful staff, great breakfast and fabulous location. Lovely little terrace with sun loungers and private garden area looking straight out onto the bay - must be one of the best views from a hotel bedroom ever!
second time at Unreal View Flats, still the best option in Corfu Town. perfect location, great apartment, beautiful view. Very good communication with the host, easy check in and check out.
