Staff were very polite and helpful. The cleaning staff are constantly cleaning and moping. Pool area was lovely, restaurant was decorated and styled beautifully. Lunch and drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice good choice of meats cheeses, omelette, pancakes fruits etc. Beach towels and sunlounges are included.

Hotel is new, very nice staff, and friendly. he location is quiet, without noise and is a great place for families with children, as well as for people who just want to rest in peace. the food is delicious, fresh and every day there was a new menu. the children were treated especially kindly, since they could always order pizza, soup or something else in addition to the food served, without additional payment. the beach is clean and not crowded.

    It is hard to comment objectively as this was low season and much of the restaurants and facilities were closed , but it is obvious there is much more in season. The Durres end of Golem has some excellent hotels and restaurants, so you need to explore a little out of season See Rio Palace restaurant, Dollars Restaurant and FaFa Blue Hotel

    heavily touristic area, hotels extend to the beach, the beach is nice with fine sand. There is a lot of construction here, there are also exchange offices or shops, restaurants. It's more like dead in the off-season.

    It is hard to review Golem as we mostly stayed at the hotel and its close proximity. There is a pathway by the beach which is not too long to walk. The are a few markets in very close proximity to the hotel.

    The apartment was spacey with a sea view and good value for the money. In October it was not overcrowded with the tourists. Weather was warm and sunny during our stay and there was reasonably priced resort restaurants near by. The apartment was clean and the host was very helpful and accommodating whenever we needed him to resolve any issues with the accommodation.

    Golem is the quieter beach down from Durres.

    Golem is the quieter beach down from Durres. This is a touristy destination. It does have lovely bars and restaurants but not the character if yre looking for the idillic beach scene. You have to travel a distance to see any historical places. We used it as a quiet last few days of holiday as its close to airport.

    The best is the location and facilities.

    The best is the location and facilities. It is a very beautiful place, a lot of shows. I only didn´t feel so safe, because people who is not in the hotel can enter and use the swiming pool. My daughter get stolen by another child, who was not in the hotel and those people who are not in the hotel are using the chairs from the swimmingpool and sometimes we didn´t have a spot to sit. Another recomendation is to put more garbage cans, because the beach was full of cigarette butts.

    Great apartment at a great location. Has all you need and very close to the beach and the promenade, yet in a peaceful location. Easy to park in the street in front of the building. Great host, excelent communication. Will definitely book again when back in Golem. For those using Google Maps to get you there - it doesn't recognize the street, navigation leads you around, on a dirt road. When you get near location, use satellite view, or see the pic in the attachment, the street is drawn in red.

    This beautiful hotel is located on the beach in Golem and also has an infinity pool. There is plenty of seating around the pool, and on an outside patio with shade cover or sun. The staff are friendly, helpful and in good humour. Our sea view room was spacious, airy and clean with modern furnishings. Breakfast was delicious, as were other menu items for lunch or dinner. They took good care of us! Highly recommend.

    My friend and I stayed for 12 nights at this family-owned lovely hotel. Our stay was very comfortable as restaurants and beaches were just a walk away. We really enjoyed homemade cakes and byreks prepared by our nice hosts each morning. Amazing and kindest hosts - definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking to stay in Golem!

    I liked everything about the hotel. The balcony had a nice view where you could stay in the evening for a drink. Spacious parking. The location was good, 3-4 minutes from the beach. The staff was very friendly and polite. They made our stay very comfortable and feel like home. I would highly recommend this experience.

    Absolutely beautiful! Wow, the pictures are exactly the expectation, the bed super comfortable, clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious too, I would definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends. The manager is fantastic, even gave us some tips on what to do in Albania, very helpful!

    There were three people that gave their best in order for us to have this fantastic holiday and they were Manushaqe, Gerti and Jeton. Their welcome and help was unmatched. The hotel needs some work especially in the toilets but it was acceptable. The buffet was always good and the food was super fresh.

    Everything was wonderful! The host is helpful and pleasant. Everything in the apartment is very clean and new. The beach is in front of you, markets and restaurants very close. I have been visiting Albania for 10 years, this is the most beautiful apartment I have ever stayed in. Simply GREAT!

    The hotel served a lovely buffet breakfast! The building is right next to the beach and the private beach is right opposite. We had a room at the back of the building (without sea view). It had a sizeable nice balcony to sit out in the afternoon / evening when the sun was on the other side.

    A very hospitable, friendly and clean stay at a family-owned hotel! We had a great room with a balcony and had a wonderful custom breakfast the next day. A good option for when you arrive to Albania and want to stay outside of the city and walkable to a beach.
