Very nice location and very well equipped. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the very good internet service all over the premises. The breakfast was outstanding (5 choices) and staff were very helpful. Good value! Parking on premises.

The whole stay at the hotel was wonderful. Personnel was really really friendly and polite. The room was clean and tidy.
Food was amazing, super delicious and the drinks.....
We tasted homemade rakia and white wine - both were one of the best we have ever tasted. We bought two bottles of the same white wine.

The location is great for Melnik, but the road is terrible if you have to go out of Melnik regularly. If you are with a low car, it is better not to go in front of the hotel with the car.
The hotel amenities are great, the room was really big, and the AC was great.
The terrace was amazing.
The staff were really friendly and kind.

Melnik is an absolutely gorgeous town with amazing old architecture and Pyramid rocks towering over the town. Its really hot here during summer. A hotel with a pool highly recommended. The people are friendly. Service and food is great. Being a well reputed wine region the wine everywhere is very very good.
Everything is walkable in the main centre. So many restaurants to choose from. Make sure you make the hike to the monastery. The views from the top are spectacular.

Melnik is a very beautiful village, stay there but do not eat at the local taverns if you are not bulgarian. Very expensive, they charge double price compared to what they charge to the locals. You can have exceptional food quality and half prices at Petric and maybe at other nearby villages

Melnik is lovely with lots of wine to try. Good for hiking too. Walking to the monastery is a must!
It does NOT have a pharmacy. Finding basic things like paracetamol was a nightmare. A kind member of staff from a hotel gave me one of his arthritis meds.

Regarding the hotel - everything was perfect - the room, the breakfast, the staff. The hotel also has an excellent location - on a walking distance from all wine cellars & restaurants.
Melnik itself is the Bulgarian wine capital - so go there anytime you visit the country.
And do not miss the Museum of the wine.

Melnik is the smallest and also my favourite town in Bulgaria. Its wine culture, its architecture and the nature surrounding it, are unique. If I would take my foreign friends to any place in the country, Melnik would definitely be in the top 3. Fully recommend!

Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should...
Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should not miss this town, which is known as the "smallest town" in Bulgaria with around 200 residents. It's one of the few places where nature has shaped big sand pyramids, some of which can reach a height of 100 meters. There are unlimited possibilities for hikes from the town, the most popular are to Rozhen Monastery and to a church in Zlatolist where a 1,300-year-old platanus tree is located. The town sees many tourists and plastic pollution is a big problem, like in most of Bulgaria. Soon there will be more discarded plastic bottles than pyramids here.
Gorgeous facilities decorated in the old Bulgarian style throughout. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious cuisine- traditional dishes with an updated twist. I might go there just for dinner should I visit Melnik again. Hosts were friendly and spoke good English. Room was immaculate with attention to every detail. The wine cellar was impressive and breathtaking, with the host explaining each part of the process. The view from the house overlooks the town, rock formations and old ruins.
The hotel is great and it's in a perfect location for all the tourist attractions. The owners of the hotel will treat you like you're their best friends and the food they will serve to you is amazing. The cleanest rooms, the comfortable beds, the spacious bathrooms and the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious food that you will experience is making this hotel a perfect choice. My family and I had a great time. Can't wait to repeat this trip in late September.
Despite being on the main road to Melnik, it was very quiet. The pool looked very appealing, but I didn't have time to use it. The restaurant seemed well visited, a nice terrace with lots of guests enjoying the summer night. Sufficient and safe parking spots. A 10 mins walk to the city centre. I had to leave in the morning before breakfast but the owner had arranged a well-packed picknick bag for the road.
We stayed at Hotel Mario which is located on the road to Rozhen, while other part of the Mario facilities is within Melnik. Location was calm and quiet, owner didn't bother us at all - in fact we saw him at the check-in and check-out only. Being a bit distant from the Melnik restaurants is an advantage to me. It takes a 5-10 minutes walk to reach the city center.
The hotel is excellent value for money.
We absolutely loved our stay in the Manoleva house. The entire Manoleva family were warm, super attentive and helpful, always made sure we had everything we need. The house is amazing - beautiful view, spacious room, decorated with taste and little details. The rooms were super clean and had all necessary amenities. The breakfast was amazing - super delicious and in large quantities.
Nice and clean rooms in a renovated traditional house. The rooms have a view to the pyramids and the valley. It is in a quiet streat in the central part of town. There are available parking places just in front of the house. The lady was very nice and she knows a lot about the history of Melnik.
Nice lounge downstairs with comfortable sofas to relax on. Good view of Melnik from the restaurant. Receptionists and restaurant staff very helpful. They packed my breakfast for take away ready at 7:00 AM by request. Clean room and nice bathroom.
Very cute and beatiful hotel at Melnik.
The stufs are kind and provided a short visit to their cave. It was very good experience for us.
The room is clean and has sunlight and beautiful view of mountain.
I recommend to stay the hotel.
Firstly, the hotel has a very spacious and quiet courtyard. You can even sit next to a water stream that flows nearby.
Second, the staff is very warm and welcoming. The room is quite big and has comfortable beds.
Great location on a hill overlooking beautiful Melnik and its hills. Calm, comfortable beds, easy parking. We liked very much the dinner in the hotel's restaurant; breakfast was not buffet but a la carte, but ok.
Jorge the host was so welcome and kind with us, the hotel and the place was super beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely would come back if i go to melnik again.
Melnik is a lovely place with a lot of historical buildings.
The staff in the hotel was very friendly.
The room was clean.
We had a wonderful dinner in next door restaurant :)
Very good hotel. I really liked the room. The staff was very helpful and nice. There is also a restaurant in this hotel and the food is delicious. Also the location is great.
A family owned hotel with a lot of care for the guests. Breakfast was amazing, the room and the beds were very good. The host was very attentive and accommodated our needs.
