Wonderful dreamy property decorated with taste and luxury! Superb location, on the sides in peaceful area but a 5 minute walk from Main Street. Nice view of fairy chimneys, comfortable large cave rooms and toilets. Small cute property over steps with different areas to sit, chill and enjoy. Would surely stay here again. The manager Mr Emre took exceptional care of our hotel, hot ballon, Atv bookings and both airport shuttles. He personally took care of guests small requirements which is admirable!

The location was central to everything and the host was so hospitable.
A magical town and must see! Walk the town (leave your heels at home), visit the various rooftop bars and restaurants. Take a hot air balloon ride - we used Butterfly Balloons and it was great. Maybe slightly more expensive, but they limit numbers to 16 people per basket (others take up to 20) and you have plenty of time in the sky (at least an hour). Best sunset views - Kaira Rooftop Bar & Restaurant - live music, great cocktail selection, friendly staff. Visit the underground cities, fairy chimneys and other historical sites nearby - a guide for information purposes is definitely recommended. We booked a private tour guide for the day. Hike the various valleys, they are magical. We stayed for two nights, three full days. We definitely could have spent another night.

Must do:
Must do:
Balloon flight - very early start - around 04:30am, depending on time of year, but amazing aerial view over the whole of the area.
ATV quadbike tour - best way to see many of the most famous sites and great fun going off road - you can have your own bike or share with a friend but must be over 18 to drive.
Open air museum at Goreme - lots of caves and churches with well planned and paved routes and stairs - can be busy but if you go the opposite way to groups, then it's much nicer and quieter!
Underground Cities: Derinkuyu and Kaymakli both worth a visit and less than an hour drive from Goreme. Fascinating to see how they lived underground and the pasageways are twisting and turning through only a small part of the cities themselves.
Visit the valleys and explore as much as you can - the scenery changes throughout the day as the light changes and there are plenty of footpaths to follow, if you have the time.
Wish we could have visited Ilhara valley and Love valley as well, but ran out of time and energy!
The restaurants and hotels in Goreme are expensive but the area is unique and you could stay in Nevsehir if you wanted a cheaper more cosmopolitan option as it is the biggest city nearby but we chose to have the views and the atmosphere as its a trip we have been planning for many years!

It's a very unique place for a once in a lifetime experience. We did some horeriding with sunrise, watched the balloons, explored the city and did beautiful hikes in the valleys that surround Goreme. The hikes we totally recommend, you escape the big group of tourism and you can just enjoy the beautiful nature.
With half a week, say 4 days, you can see the most. We were there for a week, that was a bit too long, but we could take it slow which was perfectly fine for us. Be aware of sleeping not that much a night, because if you want to see the sunrise you have to wake up at 4:30. Goreme is a living town with lots going on, so don't come here only to rest. You can expect lots of tourists in this area.
We ate multiple times at A la Mode Restaurant & LaLinda Brasserie, this were our favorites because of the varieties in the menu.

Göreme, a great place with lots of choices, offering a vast array of restaurants and cafés. Its walkability to the Open-Air Museum and numerous trails of various levels of difficultly provide ample opportunities to explore. The is also many opportunities to rest at charming stops along the way and have a snack of cup of tea.

A beautiful small town with access to many activities (needing at least 2 full days to complete - I recommend 3 days so you avoid too many very early starts and the opportunity to rebook the Hot Air Balloon ride if it is cancelled due to poor weather. The Red tour is more about History, the Green tour is more about scenery and there is a Blue tour to see water. There is also ATV and horse riding, Turkish Baths, many restaurants and shops to visit.

the hotel has a family vibe that owner always ready to lend a helping hand. easy access to restaurants and stores. rooftop view is incredible in the morning during hot air balloon. walking distance to some tourist spots like love valley, sunset point. hotel itself have nice view of a garden with lots of plants and flowers.
It's right in the centre of Goreme. Everything is accessible and the hotel is so lovely! The terrace offers such a lovely view of Goreme and the hot air balloons in the morning. But the best part for me are the staff. They are all friendly and very helpful. Laila was amazing and she made me feel at ease with my travel and stay in Cappadocia. I am a solo female traveller and she made sure I have everything I needed to enjoy my stay. She's such a great help in arranging things from airport transfers to booking activities for you.
Our stay at Castle Cave Hotel was awesome. The friendly staff helped us with everything we needed, like booking a balloon flight, renting a car etc. Our cave room was fantastic, with a small balcony offering a great view over Göreme. The breakfast buffet was authentic and tasty. The hotel is perfectly located near the sunset point and also within a short distance from great restaurants. A big thank you once again to Mustafa and his staff for making our stay very easy and enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying here!
Froikan is a great host, very accommodating, welcoming and sensitive to the needs of his customers. When my husband was trying to catch his breath while climbing the stairs, Froikan rushed with a glass of water. The breakfast was fantastic! Homemade dishes and Turkish delicacies along with the unique and awesome views of the caves on the terrace and the Art Gallery were truly a memorable experience! Highly recommended and will definitely stay in Aren Cave Hotel when we revisit one of our favorite destinations, Turkey!
Han was so helpful at Arif Cave hotel! We arrived and were immediately given an overview of all the experiences/tours we could do so we could plan our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and the facilities were beautiful! To me this truly seemed like one of the best hotels in Cappadocia and was such a great value. We would 100% stay here again if we make it back. The hotel has a great location, staff, facilities, and is a great value as well. I recommend the cave suite with the balcony and skylight if possible!
This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There are many “cave hotels” in Goreme but this place takes the concept to its ultimate expression. Very large, well appointed room with an equally large bathroom featuring huge jacuzzi tub and marvelous walk in shower with a rainfall shower head tall enough for just about anybody. The layout is even more spectacular than the photos reflect with common areas that are an instagram dream. Staff is gracious and helpful in every respect.
location was great, close to all the shops/restaurants and a sunset viewpoint. Front desk was helpful with explaining the town and would help us book tours etc.
the room from the back side of this hotel is probably one of the best in Cappadocia as you watch the balloons fill up and all start launching from your balcony. not a cave hotel but very much a cave hotel feeling inside.
breakfast is decent as well and the family will make your eggs how you like.
Absolutely everything! Ascension is in the best location right by the view point. The staff are very approachable and friendly. Room 120 has the best views of Goreme from its own private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best start to the day. I absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious cave hotel that’s affordable and good value for money.
Our stay at Mosaic Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was very memorable. Mr. Mustafa and his team were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring our comfort throughout. The hotel's location provided beautiful views from height. The delicious breakfast and the hotel's assistance in booking airport transfers, hot air balloon rides, and tours were added perks. For a memorable short stay in Cappadocia, I highly recommend Mosaic Cave Hotel.
We stayed here early July and I’m glad we chose this hotel and cancelled our booking at the original hotel we booked. The staff were so helpful during our stay and were very accommodating. The rooms are brand new but in the cave style. The hotel is centrally located and in my opinion it has the best terrace in Göreme to view the balloons. I highly recommend this hotel if you want an unforgettable experience in Cappadocia!
liked everything! it was magical— very clean, spacious, comfortable. It had the mixture of luxurious and simple environment. loved it! perfect location cave hotel with several cute terraces, lovely rooms, delicious and plenty food, and beautiful Turkish style decorations , . The staff members were very helpful, very nice, and attentive! it made our experience in Cappadocia perfect!
My time at Gedik Cave Hotel in Goreme was an amazing experience, I left the place wishing back again one day. The price, room, food and services are great for the price. The staff are very atentive, kind and helpful. If you are looking to spend good time and enjoy your holiday in Cappadocia, I really recommend the hotel and the other services they provide.
In love with this location and hotel! The feeling of history with nature is so pure and relaxing, living within beautiful caves. Also, the restaurant within the hotel had excellent dinner and a wonderful free breakfast feast. I would definitely stay here again.
You must ride a hot air balloon if in Cappadocia, it was an incredible experience.
Fabulous hotel- the staff were amazing, the room was gorgeous, the breakfast was great and it’s a two minute walk from the town of Goreme. The panoramic views of the fairy chimneys were stunning. Many thanks to Arif for all his help with booking activities, especially the balloon ride. Can’t recommend Secret Hill Caves highly enough.
The staff at Zara Cave Hotel were very friendly and helpful when it came to booking tours and activities. The views were stunning and we were close to the centre which was great as we didn't have to walk far for gift shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone who wishes to experience staying at a cave hotel in Cappadocia.
Location was great. It is middle of the Goreme downtown. They have a small balcony by entrance. You could wake up early morning and watch balloons in the sky.
Hotel is a cave hotel, rooms are designed based on that. Do not expect 5 star hotel comfort, but we enjoyed our 2 nights stay. They have also a very rich breakfast option.
We loved everything about Naraca Cave Hotel. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the best traditional food we had in Cappadocia. We loved the views from the hotel. The service was 10/10. Unal was always happy to help us 24/7. Very welcoming and always made sure we were comfortable.
Beautiful cave hotel with smiling and kind people managing! The room is clean and very well decorated. View is gorgeous with balloons on top of hotel. Breakfast variety is too much! They full your plate again when you like something. And it has a relaxing pool! The place is the spot and is a must in Cappadocia!
Goreme is a small village and the hotel was perfectly located in the cave area. It’s important to note that the entrance is not on a main road and you have to walk down a few steps to get to the main entrance. The breakfast was very nice each morning.
Fantastic cave hotel in a great location with unobstructed rooftop views for balloons and beautiful sunsets! The daily breakfast was lovely as well. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in Goreme.
Great cave hotel with spacious rooms, excellent service, and great views of balloons and sunset with perfect location in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Cappadocia.
