Good hotel with very good facilities, including an authentic bar and restaurant. Rooms are large with two double beds. Parking is plentiful and at the front door. Breakfast was cooked to order by a chef and was perfect. Easy walk into Derry.

Excellent food. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very good. The staff are a great strength of the hotel. All were efficient and friendly. Special thanks to Paddy in the Snug. Good sleep quality- the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night.

Enjoyed the McCrossan walking tour- gives you an understanding of the history and you get your bearings to walk around independently. The Guildhall was interesting and well worth a visit. Good choice of restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Fitzroy, drinks at Badgers pub and a great traditional music evening at Peader O’Donnell’s pub. There is a lot of history to learn of particular interest to the British from the first settlement to the present day. To appreciate the city it is necessary to walk everywhere- over the peace bridge, along the road with the murals in Bogside, around the Guildhall, walk the city walls and visit museums etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically). We had just an overnight & until the following early afternoon. Will definitely be returning! We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.
