Ann was a great host and very welcoming. We were offered tea and coffee upon arrival and she gave us some directions of places she recommend we visit. The room was cosy with plenty of bedding and bottles of water. Ann also refilled our own water bottles upon request. The breakfast at Greenway Lodge was amazing, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurts, we opted for the full Irish which was enough to set us up for the whole day.

The location was great and the beach was just a small walk away. The property was lovely and a great view of both the ocean and mountains. Plenty of beds and very comfortable, nice little kitchen with fridge freezer, oven & hob, microwave, kettle & utensils. Plenty of towels and tea towels. Bedding was clean and very comfortable. Oil heating was great if it got cold and a fireplace if you wish to lite the fire. Our host was very informative and a lovely man.
My only recommendation to our host would be to invest in an air fryer, as most people use them and they are convenient for a quick meal. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

The amytyst (not sure if spelling is correct) has gorgeous food but only open from Thursday to maybe Sunday.. nearby keel has lovely beach, croghan sea cliffs has breathtaking views if you’re willing to hike for approx 50 mins. Also has crash remains of a world war 1 RAF plane if you can find it. White painted rock marks the spot of the engines.

Amazing to see The Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland really is a Gem.
Everyone I met were real 'salt of the earth' people, proud of where they live and what they do.
Achill Island is spotless and that is down to hard work, I only hope that mindset keeps spreading into every corner of Ireland.
The view, the company, room was wonderful, also with exquisite view. Every detail was taken care of for a B&B in this charming town. The hosts could not be more accommodating. The townsman were great local color. Thus is where you want to experience Ireland.
