Such a beautiful place and ideally placed to access the Dolomites and all it has to offer, we just needed more time there. Despite it being out of season, there were good restaurants with delicious food and great wine, very reasonably priced too. We are at the San Leonardo pizzeria just up the road from the apartment and the food was so good. The local Badia pub also serves great pizza and is a hive of activity, even at this time of year with locals and tourists alike. Villages and tourists spots are easily accessible by car, only 5 to 10 mins apart each. There is however limited translation of signs and information in English so some preparation in advance is advised (or Google translate!)

We came to Badia for the Maratona cycle event.
We came to Badia for the Maratona cycle event. I would have liked to see more of the area and stay longer as the scenery was breathtaking and the people on the mountain and in the village were so friendly. The food was delicious!
This hotel is simply amazing. Everything was perfect from outstanding level of service to the beautiful rooms.
Its a family owned and you could feel a personal touch in everything . Bernedett the owner was there for us for every question and very knowledgeable of the area - she helped us to create a perfect hiking itinerary for our entire stay. In the evenings, after a long day of hiking we've enjoyed an infinity pool and a hot tub facing an amzing view and spa.
The food was delishes.
We will be back :-)
This is a real gem! Great new amenities (saunas, infinity pool). Fine on-site restaurant and huge selection of wines. Very convenient storage room for ski equipment and shuttle service to the slopes. Amazing staff felt like family. Super professional and friendly bartender Ivar made our stay even more interesting and unforgettable so we made a new friend and will definitely plan to return. Thanks a lot to the entire Badia Hill family!
Loved the location in the middle of town, local cows would walk up the street every night and brought back in the morning to graze. You could walk to one of the ski lifts that took you up to La Valle. The beautiful Parish Church of Badia (Chiesa Parrocchiale Badia) was amazing and so was there cemetery. The host Harold and Natalia could not have been nicer. I would highly recommend this place.
Super-friendly and warm welcome and service during our entire stay. The hotel is modern and elegant but cosy and charming at the same time. All interior and equipment are of high quality, The food is marvelous. The surroundings are perfect for mountain aficionados. We'll definitely come back!
New, very clean room with balcony and mountain view. The room has everything you need and even more. The owner of the hotel - Margaret is a very pleasant, loyal woman who is very kind to her home. Delicious breakfasts with a large selection of food. We are grateful to Margaret for this place
The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating, they have even arranged a plug to allow us charging our car.
The location is unbeatable, nothing better than skiing down the mountain basically directly into the hotel room.
Breakfast is high quality.
Almost everything was perfect. You will find no reason to complain.
I was especially impressed when some neighbors gathered to help us pulling out our rented car (which had no winter tyres and no snow chains ... and no kidding) from a pile of snow.
What a wonderful stay - everything was great. The spa facilities are wonderful. The restaurant was quite good - and the salad bar an excellent deal. The best hotel we stayed in during our five week European trip!
New apartment, spatious, very well equiped. Our host was very helpfull, polite and responsive. I'd highly recommend this facility, for sure will come next time if we come to Badia.
